TEN THOUSAND STEPS DAILY FOR FIFTY DAYS

It’s such a perfect time of year to get some extra movement in! Take a weekend hike, morning or evening walks in the neighborhood, a few laps around your office during your lunch break or holiday shopping! This challenge is to get us moving more as we prepare to enjoy holiday gatherings and colder weather in the months to come. This will set you up for success through the holiday and maybe even get you started on a new routine.

Walking 10,000 steps daily offers a slew of physical and mental health benefits. For example, it can support healthy weight loss, improve joint health, boost mood and brain function and aid recovery. Also, walking is low-impact, so unless you have alignments that don’t allow you to walk, this is a great way to benefit your health. Put on those walking shoes and lets’ get going!
